Topic: Group Announcements & Discussions / [Guidelines (rev Feb '08)] Group information and Guidelines This in an open group – anyone can join. We don’t decide who can join and who can’t, so if you opt to join, you get to join. Joining doesn’t automatically mean work is accepted though. I’ve had a quick peek at your gallery, and I think you have some work that is suitable, though as a host, I can’t really tell you what to sumbit. Generally we don’t have time to go through people’s galleries on an individual basis and tell them what to submit – we just haven’t the time. Read the post above by Mike, and edited by Mark – though our guidelines really are somewhat subjective, it might help you. If you need more help than that, please bmail me directly and I’ll try my best to help you out sometime this week. I have some other comittments that I must meet, but I’ll do my best. I notice in your gallery you have one work (yellows and blues, sort of abstract) that you indicate was all done with photoshop – an image like that, though it’s wonderful (it’s one of my favourite’s from your gallery) would not fall within the guidelines here because of the photoshopping. |

Topic: Group Announcements & Discussions / [Guidelines (rev Feb '08)] Group information and Guidelines I must ask, If you refuse to accept any of my work, why was I allowed to join in the first place. Please, if any of my work is not worthy, let me know so i wont keep wasting my time on this group! |

Topic: Group Announcements & Discussions / Rejected eh. quote: I wrote an article on works of art and critiques. Then the work was accepted. Work is never accepted because of something an artist does – it is accepted or rejected on it’s own merit, so if some work was accepted it was because it deserved to be, not because you wrote an article. |

Topic: Group Announcements & Discussions / Rejected eh.
Sometimes works get rejected because members ignore the ‘one per day’ rule. We don’t reject works purely to reduce the number of images awaiting a decision. (Actually, most days some works are rejected because of members ignoring the rules.) |

Topic: Group Announcements & Discussions / Rejected eh. I too have had works rejected by this group, that others have thought had merit. I wrote an article on works of art and critiques. Then the work was accepted. Somehow many works get rejected because the managers of the group are overloaded. Go asj Mark German just what he thinks, however be nice. Abuse does not get flies but sugar does. |

Topic: Group Announcements & Discussions / Rejected eh. I’ve had things rejected because I’ve submitted more than the daily quota…. this is a generic ‘rejection’.....take a deep breath…:))) and perhaps try again in a few days. |

Topic: Group Announcements & Discussions / Rejected eh. I don’t see that there is any reason to describe the accepted (I presume you did mean accepted rather than excepted) works as “shite” and “ridiculous”. Why do you fell the need to denigrate the photographic works of other Redbubble users, just because you didn’t get something you wanted? Your post suggests you’re leaving the group. Goodbye!!! |

Topic: Group Announcements & Discussions / Rejected eh. Well, I’m no expert either, but here’s what I have to say to you Keith. I’m sure, everybody worked on their photos at least at hard as you did…. ..there’s really no need for that here. Throw some jokes, throw some humor, or even throw some “fucks” here and there if you like, but do it with some witt ! |

Topic: Group Announcements & Discussions / Rejected eh. You are kidding me, seriously…. “Spin” was not accepted into the The Fine Art of Photography group about 2 hours ago. The reason was: “We think elements of it could be improved. These may be issues with composition or framing, excessive noise or soft focus, or excessive post-production. However, we encourage you to contribute other work to the group.” I will leave you guys to it, The shite that is excepted is ridiculous yet you turn away a straight night shot of precise focus and composition with not a hint of noise. Would like to see one of ye guys take a shot of a moving carousel at night with 100 iso, a 10.5 lens and no tripod. good luck to ya. |
