  • Aurora Borealis.Collaboration with Hilary Doughill.SOLD by Cynthia Adams

The night was cold and still, Snow lay all around the cabin. Blue light filtered through the crack in the curtains. / Tess and Bob snuggled closer for warmth more than passion. / The dog had been restless all night, whining and moaning at the door. Loathe to move, but afraid it might be an emergency for the dog; Tess climbed quietly out of bed, tossed on a coat, and opened the door. / As she did so, the most beautiful light she had ever seen flooded into the room. She rubbed her eyes, was she dreaming? No she wasn’t. / She stepped outside into the snow and the light mostly Blue, was followed by a ray of Red, then a splash of Yellow, followed by Green, and with these flashes of colour a most magnificent glow of White spread across the sky and came to Earth in rays which sparkled and shone on the snow like tiny diamonds. / It was the most wonderful moment of Tess’ entire life. She bathed in its Glow. The wonderful Aurora Borealis, the Northern Lights and Bob had slept right through it. Aurora Borealis is an Original Oil on Canvas depicting the phenomenon of the Northern Lights. / Many thanks to Hilary Doughill for adding the storyline for this image.Check out her wonderful portfolio on RB,the lady is a wonderful friend and has such talent.
