  • Jetty by lollipoppins

in costa brava, spain / Ive added a sepia photo filter on but apart from that i haven’t changed anything. In the midst of all these gorgeous coves with turquoise seas and white sands, was this shadowed little disused jetty. I couldn’t get it out of my head so I went back and took a photo.

  • The stairs. by lollipoppins

Taken on a beach in costa brava, spain I was really rushed, nobody would stand around while I adjusted everything on the manual mode, so I just stuck it in auto and took the shot quickly. / ....a bad workman always blames his tools, but the auto mode on my camera isn’t always best… / Ok, it doesn’t seem very experimental but it is because I’d never ever tried using focus so drastically like this.

About This Group

This group is exactly what it says it is, BEACH! We are looking for art that is photographed, illustrated, painted, etc., but it must contain the beach. If you want to put in shells, birds, animals, humans, ect, make sure that part of the beach is visible. We are going to begin a forum, for ideas, suggestions, or whatever. I hope everyone will participate. We would like to put a three per day limit for now. The group is growing fast and it’s beautiful. If guidelines are not followed your images will be removed. If you feel that your art is in fact beach related, we can discuss it through bubblemail. We will begin having contests soon. I want for us all to be proud members of this group.
