Fantail Wave by KenWright
Shot near Point Hallswell, Wellington Harbour at dawn, the light was superb, I’d gone to shoot sunrise on the coast and the weather was nasty, came back into the harbour and got this light, sunrise is straight through those clouds, the effect is like soft Paua shell, what the image doesn’t is that if I turned the right it would have been soaked by sea spray in the wind. Shot on a Nikon D700, Nikkor 17-35mm Lens f2.8

Susan-A Miracle girl! by TREVOR IRWIN
Please when you have time, visit my Mission charity site: / http://www.philadelphia33.org/ When We first met Susan on a mission to a rural village in April 2007, she was in the later stages of death. her body was infested with intestinal worms. medicines would not work. I prayed for her in the village, along with two other mission volunteers. We left to continue our journey. But God spoke to me, and We returned that evening and put her in our old battered vehicle adn brought her to our mission centre. We continued to pray and command death to leave her alone. 5 days later and God completely healed her. Now as you see, Susan is completely healed. She shares her testimony with us on missions into other villages and many have also received healing and hope. Praise God! Please help us to continue to reach others with the healing love of God. THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT by Spiritinme
IT’S THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT BY REM That’s great, it starts with an earthquake, birds and snakes, an aeroplane - / Lenny Bruce is not afraid. Eye of a hurricane, listen to yourself churn - / world serves its own needs, regardless of your own needs. Feed it up a knock, / speed, grunt no, strength no. Ladder structure clatter with fear of height, / down height. Wire in a fire, represent the seven games in a government for / hire and a combat site. Left her, wasn’t coming in a hurry with the furies / breathing down your neck. Team by team reporters baffled, trump, tethered / crop. Look at that low plane! Fine then. Uh oh, overflow, population, / common group, but it’ll do. Save yourself, serve yourself. World serves its / own needs, listen to your heart bleed. Tell me with the rapture and the / reverent in the right – right. You vitriolic, patriotic, slam, fight, bright / light, feeling pretty psyched. It’s the end of the world as we know it. / It’s the end of the world as we know it. / It’s the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine. Six o’clock – TV hour. Don’t get caught in foreign tower. Slash and burn, / return, listen to yourself churn. Lock him in uniform and book burning, / blood letting. Every motive escalate. Automotive incinerate. Light a candle, / light a motive. Step down, step down. Watch a heel crush, crush. Uh oh, / this means no fear – cavalier. Renegade and steer clear! A tournament, / a tournament, a tournament of lies. Offer me solutions, offer me alternatives / and I decline. It’s the end of the world as we know it. / It’s the end of the world as we know it. / It’s the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine. The other night I tripped a nice continental drift divide. Mount St. Edelite. / Leonard Bernstein. Leonid Breshnev, Lenny Bruce and Lester Bangs. / Birthday party, cheesecake, jelly bean, boom! You symbiotic, patriotic, / slam, but neck, right? Right. It’s the end of the world as we know it. / It’s the end of the world as we know it. / It’s the end of the world as we know it and I feel fine…fine… (It’s time I had some time alone)

SHINING STAR OF THE WEEK
‘DREAMER” ... ARTIST: SASEOCHE

SHINING STAR OF THE WEEK
AFTERFLOW—AUTHOR: JEN WHYTE
In the afterglow I sit
Bathed in the light
Of silent contemplation
And meditation
To ease the darkness in my soul
My trouble heart is lifted
In the light of grace
That drops softly
Illuminating the place
Wherein I dwell
I turn my in-sight to the light
Acceptance … no more denial
Of a future imagined dark and cold
And thoughts of expected fears
My equilibrium I can regain
Would I could stay within time’s grace
To stop the running hands
And still life’s race
And sit timely in this instant
Stay in this second
And grasp each precious drop
Capture the moment
And live in the Now
NOW ABOUT THIS GROUP
The Bits and Pieces Group although we initially started out accepting pieces of art
and writings that did not fit into any other Groups….we have grown and now feel
that we will accept any art and writings as long as they meet the Group’s guidelines
and are accepting “bits and pieces” that have been accepted by other Groups…
..for people new to writing… and anything else they may need a hand with….......where novices can post without feeling self conscious …..
.....a place where everyone with a love for expressions can meet and greet…...and say…”.Hey….....how can I finish this off..”
Or where ones upload has been exceeded….and a refuge is needed until they can post again….
This is just a “Pub on the Corner” type place…....
....we like to think of it as “BIPS” where our beeps of imagination become beautiful songs!
Is yours the next Masterpiece?
The voice that speaks to hearts?
An escape to moments of harmony?
you’ll never know until you’ve tried!
