Acid Turbulences by lacitrouille
Created in Ultra Fractal 4. While creating it, it made me think of acid rains, of a turbulent psychedelic undersea… I thank you for taking an interest in my art, for the views and favourites. Josette :)

Hope by LindaMcCarthy
Hope is the thing… Hope is the thing with feathers / That perches in the soul, / And sings the tune without the words, / And never stops at all, And sweetest in the gale is heard; / And sore must be the storm / That could abash the little bird / That kept so many warm. I’ve heard it in the chillest land, / And on the strangest sea; / Yet, never, in extremity, / It asked a crumb of me. - Emily Dickinson

Tropical Warmth by Bloodnok
Another chilly day here in the Dordogne (Really! This is not allowed!!) So here I go again reaching for some of that Chaleur Tropicale? Created in UF4, using orbit traps and pinch variation. Looking at this wings my imagination off to tropic beaches, which in turn reminds me of one of the great truths in life— Most nudists are the very last people you need to see naked!

AllFallDown by jennyfnf
Fractal Explorer General Phoenix II formula. It’s human nature to build, progress, move forward. Sometimes we get it wrong, get knocked back and everything falls apart. It is also human nature to ride it out, place it into a compartment, get up and start again. It takes time, effort and will, and patient understanding on the part of others. This is why we need friends for their love and support , and this is why we will always be there for our friends too. This is also human nature. / Mankind can be a beast of great beauty.

TheReturn by jennyfnf
FE JT Eyes formula. Touch of lacquer in PSP and removel of a noisy bit at the bottom also in PSP with a black brush. When fractals return home to mothership fractal after a hard days work avoiding jenny’s mouse, the first thing they want is a drink of Julia’s tea, and as each have two spiral mouths they drink greedily, making slurping noises. It is then that Jenny creeps up unseen and snap – takes their picture. “Oh pooh” they say, “oh well”, always tomorrow.

MorningBrightAndABirdsong by jennyfnf
FE Joseph Trotsky 16 Rose Garden formula. / Mary was the wife of Robert Burns. She died young. Mary of Argyll / I have heard the mavis singing, / His love song to the morn, / I have seen the dew drop clinging, / To the rose just newly born. / But a sweeter song has cheer’d me, / At the ev’ning’s gentle close, / And I’ve seen an eye still brighter, / Than the dew drop on the rose. / ‘Twas thy voice, my gentle Mary, / And thine artless winning smile, / That made this world an Eden, / Bonnie Mary of Argyll. Tho’ thy voice may lose its sweetness, / And thine eye its brightness too, / Tho’ thy step may lack its fleetness, / And thy hair its sunny hue. / Still to me wilt thou be dearer, / Than all the world shall own, / I have loved thee for thy beauty, / But not for that alone. / I have watched thy heart, dear Mary, / And its goodness was the wile, / That has made thee mine for ever, / Bonnie Mary of Argyll.

Pastel Spiral by Kinnally
I love the beautiful soft but bold pastel colors in this artwork, and the intricate patterns caused by the little cutout areas. You can see inside of each little overlapping sphere through the cutouts, and see how the spheres merge together. It’s a fractal, so the pattern repeats infinitely into the depths of the spiral shape. Available for sale at my online gallery

The Future ... A nice open theme … submit fractals or mixed works (with prominent fractals) that illustrates to you the concept of future ... tag with FUTUREFRACTAL for inclusion.
Previous Theme Week
Seasons Summer, Winter, Spring and Fall … fractals and mixed media fractals welcome. Tag with SEASONFRACTAL for inclusion.
Read the group description and guidelines before adding a work !!!
Please mention in your description which fractal software you used! If you don’t and I can’t easily recognise a fractal in your image, it will be removed. I’ve already done so, if you’re wondering why your work disappeared from the group.
If you explain how and where a fractal was involved in the creation of a mixed artwork I will accept it.
Only 2 images or clothing items per day, please!
GROUP DESCRIPTION :
This group gathers fractal artists who want to help fractal art to be visible as a genre of its own.
Unlike what might be thought first when discovering these digital artworks, the computer does not do it all! Of course, these pictures could not exist without computer programs (such as Apophysis, Ultra Fractal and many more), but behind each piece, its creator spent huge amounts of time tweaking parameters, searching for original formulas or shapes, and experimenting with forms, colors, textures, often with the additional use of layers, or mixing different fractal types or different medias… some even do care about the math behind!
The whole idea is to bring people to engage in the most creative process, incorporate this fractal tool in their palette, explore new territories of digital creation, and expand the genre in all sorts of paths!
