www.saveoilies.org by steen
This is a local surfspot here in Wollongong. The gong’s premier surfers breed in this area. Its highly industrial, but has some perfect waves to offer an already limited coastline. The state Governement has decided to take this foreshore area away from the public forever. Fisherman, bikeriders, photographers, surfers etc are about to be badly done by. We need help from the wider world community. We have a website www.saveoilies.org there is a petition there that i would love everybody who reads this to sign. it only takes a minute to save a future. So if you can support us please visit www.saveoilies.org and sign our petition.. thanks soooo much Oh and to mention, all the pics on the site have been taken by myself hehe

Please forgive the redundancy… I accidentally created this as a writing the first time, and not a journal entry. – Perspective The major daily newspaper of my hometown (Louisville, KY) is publishing a photo book, a compilation of local photographs, all submitted by local photographers. However, anyone, living anywhere, can vote on which photos should appear in the book. Thousands of dollars worth of prizes are being given away, including a new Canon Digital Rebel XT SLR, which I so eagerly would like to win. You have to register in order to vote, but it only takes seconds to do so. Next, click on the second link below to view my images that are up for inclusion in the book. You can then view each image and vote on your favorites (or ALL of them). :) / -—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—— / REGISTER TO VOTE VOTE ON MY IMAGES / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-- / I would greatly appreciate the help in trying to win this contest… / Thank you!

Dancing Ragdoll by Glenna Walker
This is Bindi, my little mutt ragdoll angora ferret. She was just 9 months old when I took this photo. Bindi will be 2-years old in September. It was pure luck that I got this shot. She is probably the hardest of my ferrets to photograph as she is so tiny and fast. I will never get this shot again, it was a once in a blue moon shot. She barely weighs a pound, she came from Carolina Ferrets out of North Carolina. She is so sweet. Best viewed larger

I can’t wait!! I have met several of the pregnant moms in our Kindergarten classes….and I’ve actually became good friends with one of them. We are on PTO together….I can’t wait until late Sept….around the 20th….God will bless them with their 3rd child. And I am going to be taking pictures for them about 2 months after the big arrival. I can’t wait!! I also have another mom due anyday now…and I can’t wait to see if she’ll let me capture pictures of her new ‘lil daughter & their son Aiden. SO EXCITED!!! This could be the start of the business I’d love to grow into…..I just keep praying about it, because only GOD knows our future…he has the map. We are just the drivers of the cars, on his streets of his town, called “Our Life”. If it’s in his plan…it will happen!! Thanks for all the support you all have shown me!! We have an awesome RB family…I wouldn’t trade it for the world. :o)

Our winter contest is over and the winners are posted in the group “journal” http://www.redbubble.com/people/derid/journal/943411-once-in-a-blue-moon-comp-winners(congratulations to everyone). There will be a contest posted in May of this year. Details to be announced.
The journals can not be used for “Thank you” messages, “I have 2000 views”, “I sold another card”, ” I am going to be gone for a week” “Have a Happy New Year” or any other similar messages. There are simply too many of these messages to accommodate all the group members.
