Screams Upstairs by beanarts
Taken at Aradale Asylum I had the most chilling experience when taking this photo. As I was focusing, in my ear I heard the faint distant scream of a female as if they were in pain or torture. Normally when you hear screams you can tell what direction they’re coming from. This scream was IN my ear, inside me, inside my head, and up the stairs. For general curiosity sake, I went up expecting to see photographers fooling around, but no one was up there. And from the other side it was all darkness. The sound of this screaming was chilling, and i felt it from within my head, not from a distance. Paranormal? Or paranoia? Taken with lensbaby 2.0. Noise “grain” was intentional to add to the feeling.

A Drop Of Water by beanarts
I wanted to see if I could to this. Using the pull feature on my lensbaby to focus on close objects without a macro lens, treating the lensbaby as if it were a macro lens. Believe me, people say it can be hard enough to focus normally pushing IN the lensbaby, but it’s much harder focusing trying to push the lens OUT. Taken with a lensbaby 2.0 with no editing. Straight from the camera.

Queen of the Night Was Here... by tbealle
WOW, wow, and WoW… My Cereus bloomed the other night. It’s also called “Queen of the Night” It ONLY blooms perhaps once a year, in the evening, and it’s very easy to miss. For the two times that I’ve experienced this magical event, it was after the midnight hour. SO you can imagine, I didn’t go to bed until very very LATE. For in the morning, this magestic bloom closes back up for good. It’s really amazing. I took a lot of shots of these two blooms on this remarkable plant.
