Stamen nursery by Prasad
Carefully selected aperture and framing to bring out the dynamics of rose stamens in the foreground, keeping background partially blurred. Further processed in CS3. Using tripod had given me the freedom to choose right framing and exposure. I tried to capture these stamens from different angles but after this framing I turned off my camera :D Visit my Bubblesite for comprehensive viewing of my images. Equipment : Canon EOS 400D / Av : 7.1, Tv 0.3 sec / Tripod mounted

The Potting Shed-Red Grapefruit by Janis Zroback
“Red Grapefruit” is from The Potting Shed Series.. Watercolour on Arches Paper.. The artist knows stillness is beautiful. He sees it finely. / Then stillness brings a fullness, a lush swelling of the cells. / It is something like a harmonica, an even toned note. / He likens it to a glimmer, freshly blown glass. / He sees the ‘truth’ of art, a dazzling artifice; / he sees the depth of original, reproduced skies. / He knows that what is real is buffered by its form - / no form? no fruit, no color, no signals of the soul. Excerpt from The Artist paints a Bowl of Fruit..Lamont Palmer

"Fingers and Toes" Little People Portraits by Susan Bergstrom
“Little People Portraits” is another example of my portrait art. With Summer bearing down and the grandchildren paying vsits, I’ve received a mountain of requests for these drawings… This is also another example of the sharp focus technique I developed with Pastel and Prismacolor Pencils and Pen and Ink. / I usually do these drawings on a 12”x12” format of card stock weight, acid free, artist drawing paper and I spray the drawings with a final protective fixitive. This is “Fingers and Toes”...I draw these drawings from my own photography or those of my customer. Thanks for viewing my art.

You've made us very...? by TheOzTraveller
The sign reads ‘You’ve made us very ‘angry’; but these drummers were enjoying themselves so much that I’m not sure it applied to them, at least at this particular moment. Taken at a protest in Dublin, where bright orange shirts were in abundance, and certainly brightened up a cloudy afternoon. / /
