Heat Wave

This work is a combination of a sunset capture of the City of New York skyline and a fractal image created by Apophysis. Then it has been enhanced with HDR and Micrografx to produce the final results.

Thank you Jacqi. I live on the West Coast in Calfornia, moving this week to Arizona. And, yes it is hot out here. But from my understanding, the heat in New York is moist and more miserable than the dry heat we get out here. We could swap some heat for some of your cold air. :)

Spectacularly beautiful art work Ann – mystical certainly and very lovely. One can feel the heat but somehow an element of foreboding as well – to me at least. Quite a stunning treatment!

The packers are here and they will be out tomorrow to load everything, so I will be offline until we get connected once they load us up. We are scheduled to get online Friday, hope so. I hate being offline. I am trying to catch up today before we have to unhook and pack our computers.

dont know if youve ever heard of an english artist from victorian time called whistler but this reminds me of his work he belived in convaying as much as posible with as minimal as possible he was taken to court once by a disgruntaled customer he one his case by saying when asked how do you justify your price when the painting only took such a short time to piant he replied my dear sir you are not paying for the amont of time it took me to paint this picture you are paying for a lifetime of experience. I love it and favourited it
