this is a home on the esplanade at Currumbin Beach. everytime I go there I photograph it!! I am also in the process of painting a larger oil version but it is not coming together! I am definately more of an acrylic painter…so impatient!!
my homage to Edward Hopper, particularly 1960 painting People in the Sun (National Museum of American Art Washington DC), the windows of ‘Summer Evening’ 1947, and ‘Summertime’ 1943. Now I just have to produce amazing work for the next 50 years or so and I may be able to hold a candle to the man…sigh…
