The Healer & Her Accomplice

This painting is inspired by the healing elements provided by mother nature and patterns and textures from around the world. Unfortunately much of the fine detail and penwork is lost in the photograph, the original work needs to be viewed to really appreciate the beauty and detail. (Perhaps you could take the time to view the larger version..)

The painting has been painted using a variety of professional artist quality mediums including water colour, inks, acrylic paint, gold leaf and shellac. Size approx 60×40cm.

It seems to make a nice card, not sure about it with a black frame, though…?

Thank you ladies! It actually was really fun to do, I didn’t find it to be a lot of work, but with a few glasses of wine I find most art really quite easy to do!

Wow far out Carmen, you blow us all away with your stunning work. I love this peice so much. I love woman and cats (that should be a hint for unseen works on my part) but this is lovely. Another of my favorites.

Looked at the larger view and I gotta say Carmen, that the details are amazing. The time you must have in this piece to achieve this result must be a large amount. I love the colors and the design. But with the time you’ve put in to get the details, I have to favorite this.

Hi Arlene, I noticed a card sold recently, it must have been you?! Thanks and I am glad you appreciate the work and good luck with your Reiki healing. If you were closer I’d let you practice on me, I really need some Reiki, especially on my lower chakras.
