Grand Canyon at dusk

Well I’m back after working some 15 days in a row on an event. Now that I’m done, I’ll get to sleep and mostly try to catch up with you guys. Anyhow, this is another shot of the Grand Canyon taken this Spring during our road trip. Have a great evening.

    Shadows and pillow talk to you Fremme. Wide view is great.. as the sun sets behind you.. I was expecting to see your shadow on the horizon shadow below. Option of compositing the view with just mountains and no sky. Another is the placement of the clouds.. they seem to me to have a V shape… THe visual of the clouds on the left side.. and your formation of mountains on the right front is fine. Of course other options would be for a vertical centered shot. Got to get there myself… wonderful opportunities there are.

    A gorgeous shot full of color and detail and patterns. Looks like maybe you did some HDR? Whatever it was, it is just right. I haven’t been there since i got into digital photography. Think I might have to plan another trip! liz

    shot as is, no major changes, this was taken early evening, great lighting, played a bit with saturations, that’s about it, once more much appreciated

    Nice shot.

    The clouds look so similar to some shots that I captured. I was there in early May of this year. Looks like you were also there this past spring and I am wondering if you shot this the same late afternoon that I did?

    you never know, yes we were in that area in May, early May and we camped there for 4 night, hiked around and realized that i’ve got to go back, it’s too amazing
