thanks Ruth yes I tend to use purple for shadows.Purple in watercolour paint is more gentle too than other mediums

thanks so much blossom I have 4 versions of this! done in 2000 boy time flies.. I’ll put up another soon[just re-photographed them]larger size than I had stored.

thankyou so much Rosalie I had a few [watercolours] for an exhibition a few years ago and nothing sold, cost a lot of money for framing at the time.

thanks Shirley I seem to use that particular green a lot! i used another in a pic once and the lady who wanted it asked me to redo it in this coulour …not easy copying a watercolour they have minds of their own.
