thanks Ruth yes I tend to use purple for shadows.Purple in watercolour paint is more gentle too than other mediums

thanks Shirley I seem to use that particular green a lot! i used another in a pic once and the lady who wanted it asked me to redo it in this coulour …not easy copying a watercolour they have minds of their own.
