Mark Jones, about 1 month ago
Very nice shot indeed. If I may, I would like to have seen a little more space on the right, just a little tight, so I feel. But it is still a great shot of a great subject.
Ron Showler, about 1 month ago

Great image. Mono works well and adds to the feeling of isolation and solitude. Like the subtlety of the contrasts. Nice work.

G’day Hans,
I feel you have done a marvellous job with this outstanding B&W of the almost iconic “Dog Rocks ‘n’ Tree” subject.
A good strong image of the tree arching across the frame in the foreground locks the eye onto the scenewhich then allows us to look into it at the very interesting rock formations and the lovely misty background.
Very well composed, photographed, processed and presented.

B&W works really well here. Love the composition. The lines and shape of the tree (I was about to say “tremendous” and then realised what a horrible pun it was) ... well you know, it’s a damn fine image.

Great of this lone tree!
