Life in the Wilderness
Living in the woods, deep in this winter landscape is not such a cold place if you are a bird. These Blue Jays enjoy the hidden land of ice and snow. One blue jay perched on an old stump with its mate across the frozen pond on another branch are enjoying the morning sunshine. Balsam firs surround this scenic view. The sun is rising above the trees, ready to start another day. This is an imaginary winter landscape.
Painted in oils on canvas board, 11” by 14”

I wanted to do more christmas cards for Red Bubble but I found myself remodelling our home. I have been painting walls instead of canvas. Now ,soon I will be staying at my daughters who is having a new baby.
Anxious to get back to painting, visiting my artist friends here on Redbubble. Hope life soon gets back to normal
