Mishmash
Some more of my experimenting… I really like how this one turned out… its a double exposure taken on my Holga with out of date 35mm film… Unique and totally un-repeatable. I hope you enjoy it and the ones to come too =D

wonderful experimenting lisa, tis like a breath of fresh air. really like how the sprockets and film info here add a great frame/border to it. the colours compliment each other nicely and the fine details that are just in the right places.
love this sort of experimentation, can’t wait to see more! ;-) xox

The colours, light and collage of images make it so interesting. Thank you for adding a description of your process using the Holga.

Love it.. it’s pretty unique… I like the colors used in this project.

thanks for that… the colours were totally out of my control, there has been no manipulation in this shot, it was a happy accident that the colours that came out were so suited =D

its nice to share a process sometimes and also to write it down to remind myself really. Thanks for the feedback =D

thanks chick… I took a shot then turned the camera on its side and took the same shot, hence the crazy lighting =D glad you like it!
jemimalovesbigted in reply to Natalie Perkins’s comment, 5 months ago
totally! I love happy accidents, cause I haven’t touched this at all, this is how it turned out on the negative =D

lots of fun experimenting… I keep finding all these really old badly handled rolls of film that have been stashed away in weird places… so instead of throwing them out, may as well see what I can get from them… the best thing is having absolutely NO idea what will come back. Glad you are enjoying them =D

This is like a crazy collage- love it! I pick up my first Holga shots tomorrow. ” FINALLY”, I hear you say, well yes, I can be a wee bit disorganised and slow but I get there in the end! Holding my breath for the results….
jemimalovesbigted in reply to purelydecorative’s comment, 5 months ago
WOO HOO, so am I chick! Now make sure you scan them onto disk cause you will never ever get the same results printing, and you can always do a whole lot better with them.. Oooooh I am so excited, you better show me them =D
What film did you use? Did you xprocess or anything? Actually you can explain it all when you post them, don’t let me ruin the surprise…

great fun and colours.
I have an old camera called a skylark I think. the film didn’t wind on properly and when developed I got a continuous negative of a couple of shots overlapping…it looked so good that I had it printed. turned out to be a person with a large ornate column coming out the bottom of their body (I’d scan it and put it up except I think that person may have some sort of public profile now though I haven’t seen them for years) great when things happen just once

I would love to see it Soxy, it sounds wonderful… Maybe you can add a black stripe over the eyes so we can’t tell who it is.

This is really cool! The buyer’s booth picture looks good, too.
By the way, did you just scan the negative to get this, or what? I’ve got a Holga, but haven’t used 35mm yet… I’m curious :)
jemimalovesbigted in reply to blacksesameseed’s comment, about 1 month ago
Ummm do you mean did I scan the negative into the computer to get the print file? if so then yes. It is loads of fun using the 35mm in a Holga, a bit more fiddly but well worth the effort.
