Just went along to the launch of my universities literary journal.... I had a photo in, but that was the tip of the iceberg! I went with my partner and our son to ACMI in Federation Square, and we were running a bit late… It was totally surreal as I was walking in the place the dude on the stage called out my name and everyone looked at me clapping! Took about 30 seconds to figure out what was going on! I had won the Verandah Photography Award…. Loads of amazing books, some money and vouchers and of course the adoring attention of a load of strangers! With the money shouted myself, my gorgeous man and my boy to Japanese! All in all a lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon!
