Thanks Paul. I actually scanned a 10×8 cibachrome print to start out with this image. Then kept degrading in photoshop, Its really beautiful as a straight glossy print though as well as how I’ve treated it here.

Thanks Jessica. I worried about that for a while. Adding the text and deliberately making the image look old and battered like I have. The original image is pristine and I have exhibited it and sold it for heaps. Mind you a big glossy cibachrome print that’s framed in dark heavy wood is always something special. So I guess I had some fun with the treatment I gave to the image to post here on RB. I’m so glad you like it :)

thanks heaps Peter…funny thing is with this shot…. its the most viewed picture in all my work and yet I think the quality of it is quite low…. it was scanned from a cibachrome print and not from the slide and its lost a lot….yet people love it….. can’t figure that out myself…. but I’m glad you like it …..:)
