‘Heart Series’ card by Karin Taylor

Cross Your Heart is a mixed media painting, ink, charcoal, acrylic and pastel on a canvas textured paper (oh and there’s red glitter on her heart as well)

This is a card and print which you can send to encourage someone, or to simply let them know you send your love and are thinking of them :)

She represents the child in us all, the child within who wants to be loved, nurtured and accepted despite faults and misdeeds, she stands for the hope that we will show one another respect, goodness and kindness…..that we will all know what it is to be showered in lovingkindness…. it is my picture prayer for hope, love, peace representing all races, cultures, faces….because all hearts, regardless colour, race, creed or status, need the same thing to grow and thrive – love

    Oh how sweet, she looks Hawaiin don’t know how to spell lol. I really don’t know why I haven’t seen any of these. Your’e on my watchlist so I should see when you add something, have you seen my new frangipani one I did for my cousin?? Maybe were not getting each others for some reason.     No Cate, I haven’t seen it, and I’ve been checking daily, I feel like I’m really losing touch with you, i thought you just weren’t loading much to rb lately, i will go check if you are still on my watchlist….you should be!!! This happens sometimes, i’ve heard other people say too, that they are missing uploads in the activities box…arrgh! Thanks for liking Cross Your Heart….she’s an older one i put up….i rotate the paintings on the front page, etc..from time to time, to give it a fresh look…this one would have been up long before we became buddies, so that would explain why you didn’t see it before i think :)

    i am so happy you have seen her…
    and actually she really does remind me of you fa…
    even somehow in her looks….but did you see her glittery heart…..
    it’s the ice melting :D…..and the sun shining on it…makes it look all glittery :D (I used red glitter for her heart :D) ... she is sorta protecting her heart also at the same time, hugs karin xo
