The Green Turtle

Macro photograph taken from a tree. Actual colours from this bark, really amazing. This tree also blooms with yellow flowers. I’ve heard it named “The Leopard Tree”. Its leaves are rather similar to the Jacaranda tree.

    Great colours aren’t they…I was not into bark macros before RB, my mum had a couple of leopard trees in her front garden and I was always awed by the beautiful trunks, nature has such amazing displays! Well done Kathie.

    I don’t know about a Green Turtle, but in the enlarged version, I see a nasty gnarling face (in profile, just to the right of your name) which I find unsettling.
    Good colours though.
