I especially thank you for the Montana artwork and the photos taken in Baja California. Montana is my father’s land, and Baja is a land where I lived for 16 years (including La Paz, not far from Cabo). I wasn’t into photography much while in Baja, so I don’t have any digital work to show. I need to go back down with the Nikon!

oh wow !! that is fascinating news.
we have montana and baja in common, truly amazing.

yes definitely you should go back to baja, i absolutely love it !!
    i wish i could live there !!

how did you like living there? i am very interested

Oh my…I regarded my years there as the most peaceful of my life. I was raised as a child in Central America, so I speak Spanish fluently, and have always loved the Latino culture. I was invited to house-sit for a friend in Ensenada, and that got me started. I was mostly an undocumented illegal immigrant IN Mexico, and made a living as an ESL teacher. Lots of wonderful stories and adventures, as you can imagine. I am now in Oregon, working as a translator and interpreter for a school district. And learning to be a photographer of sorts. I could almost go back, but the border area has gotten a bit touchy. I still have close friends there, and would fit right in again. Did you ever go up to Todos Santos, the artist colony between Cabo and La Paz?
