You’re so clever Lexie..I love this, it is so very beautiful..The high key and softness give it such a dreamy surreal feel…

Thank you.. I have been wanting to do something with my son for ages now…however getting him to sit still is a hard feat at his age. Hence, we had to settle for the hands in front of the face. Thank you though.

Thank you Henk…. Well.. It isn’t dark. At least I seem to be out of that phase for the time being.

Wonderful portrait Lexie full of great sentiment matching the text exactly. I love the processing of these images, the high key, soft subtle colours all work so well. Great work!

Thank you Paul….I had someone tell me awhile back that my work was starting to get really dark. I thought I might take a turn and go the other way for awhile.

Oh wow, I remember standing in a book shop a few years ago with tears streaming down my face as I read this story for the first time. I had 3 sons at the time (I have 4 now), and my boys were at the same stages as each stage of the child in the story…it really touched my heart! Your tribute to the story is really lovely, and the image is beautiful!

Thank you very much… I had the same reaction the first time I read the story, and I still have that reaction.
