The Sickle And The Jester

The Sickle And The Jester by linaji

The Sickle And The Jester

Death has another Hat to Wear….

The Sickle And The Jester

She made him laugh
With her dance and her song
A big red hat worn wrong

She balanced her body on sand
And beckoned him toward her
With the slight of the hand

Her graceful magic consumed by
Passions wry
He let go his life with
Primordial cries

What’s left between them?
Journeyed they..
deep into dusk and sighs
As they both vanished
Into the nights burning skies

    Yet another storyline to write about ..untill Pure Positve Energy consumes all of that and we just Be All.. yep.. but I’m a writer Lee. and well.. I like death being a clown rather than a big scarey guy with a hood.”=}

You’ve moved into a whole new realm of both art and poetry with this Lina, my friend – this is a profoundly moving piece for all its color! Amazing artistry and soul in both! No adjectives are good enough to say how truly good it is!

I think Death dressing as a clown to lure you is scarier than Death himself! Love the blurring strokes in the image to express that deception. It’s scary but I love it for the way you’ve portrayed it and how well you’ve stirred the imagination. They say the scariest images come from the imagination.
