migaloo magic – a pod of three whales travelling the ocean blue…mum, dad, baby…..what magic happens on their travels….??? I’ll leave that open for mum and dad to tell the kids imaginative bedtime stories…..I created this new shop because I felt there was a special need for art for children that would inspire parents to tell their children stories at bedtime off the top of their head!! Just like they did in the good old days…getting back to basic parenting!! Oh what a joy :D

usually i don’t pay attention too much to my crazy ideas…but since I’ve known fa and you and a few others…i can see how precious concepts really are….they can grow into beautiful ideas, hopes and dreams for the future …so I must thank you :D (i think he is just 1 day old – yes!!)

Hope this isn’t too lame a suggestion, but have you thought of doing the same image in pink, bright blue, yellow etc… so it can be colour matched to different kids bedrooms. I don’t have kids but I am sure it’s the kind of thing parents would be even more likely to buy if it was in a matching colour scheme. I like the concept of them being able to tell a story around the image. Well done as always Karin

..i just had this little idea….
and then it grew, and it grew, and it grew….til it spilled right outa my head…and i had to give it a new home….and a place for my creative energy to flow…it seems right to give it a different sort of gallery feeling than my normal one…specifically dedicated to this idea :D

This kinda reminds me of those cute Japanese character like Hello Kitty, Keropee, or Hamutaro. If a story or a series is going to be done of this, it can be like one of those short segment children’s animations! (I also see that kind of potential with Tim!). I still have my Hello Kitty pencil case :P

Hi Mui-Ling..thx, that’s a great compliment…i love the Helly Kitty range…and all those little characters..they are soo cute…. I truly love children’s animations (the short ones) on tv…for short attention spans with bright colourful graphics and simplistic movement….who knows…the idea might eventually develop further into these areas….i just enjoy making them so much :D
