Winter’s River Dog.

Flowers weeping for sunshine.
Looking at shapely moon like cloud’s singing.
Blades of grass swell chattering stories to midnight.
So happy young dog to slip then fall,
Stick broken purposely to make your cat look twice with stare.
Remember me mutt in valleys so green,
Your paws so black and clean.
My eyes see your cause but not so keen to catch your boundary.
Remember these days gone not so far.
No room in a cemetery filled with bloom,
Just memory of all I have done and will do.
So remember me shall you not to soon.
In waters deep I float across myriad time.
Hearts of lover’s shall sing my sleep away.
And beneath your soul my body lies,
With dreams embraced of you.
And dance fast to night an all.
Let owls gaze upon in awe,
Hoot till dawn, then sleep every lover’s day.
While fox, vole, blinking fish, and bird of prey,
Shall dance your merry breadth in loves caress,
Along your winding banks with crinoline dress.
