Greek Port No. 3
Docking at various Greek Islands, I could’nt tear myself away from the actual ports, as to me they provided the visual interest. Awesome signage and colour coded curbs, along with industrial qualities proved and endless escape for me.

Truly inspiring work, the colour tone is what makes it for me. It looks almost like a dream.

Great image, Paul. There’s some nice symmetry happening with circles and ovals in relation to the figure. And I agree with you about the visual riches offered by Greek ports … everywhere you look there’s a photo waiting to be taken.

I love the ‘sun kissed’ style you have used. The shot is very interesting, I can see why you couldn’t resist!

Great shot Paul. The colours are what makes it as does the cropped figure. I also like the repeated circular patterns.

Beautiful, almost surreal

Just fabulous! I love the repetition of all those circles, and the repetition of the colours around the circles.

Is this staged? It has to be staged. A sublime, perfect, imperfect image.

What I like about this Paul is that for me it completely captures the memory of the ports of the Greek islands, void of trees, a solarised kind of heated colour. It’s great.

The signage and curves are wonderful, all helps to create such interest. It looks like she is all alone and wondering the earth. I love the tones in this one Paul, really wonderful job:)
Janet Leadbeater, about 1 year ago
she’s every so casually walking, runway style, over and through the signage.
visually stunning

well, ive been to thousands…(ok, maybe really only hundreds) of greek ports, and ive never seen one look this good!
dunno what youre using for processing, looks kinda hdr”ish”, but not quite, whatever it is, it works with your photos perfectly. i get a distinct 50’s feeling when i see your shots.

your works really please the eye Paul, the “ugly”, ordinary, and beautifull, retaining the 3D, and all laid out like a rich decorated cake

Your images are amazing. I love the oldish style look you give these shots
Michael Douglass, about 1 year ago
Love this, the framing is great, especially of the figure, her skin tones are incredible, love the light play affect dappled around the various elements, terrific as usual. Admire how you include so many elements in your work without losing sight of the central element, can come back and look and find yet another each time, like what is that in the bottom left? Great job.

I love you moving your work around – its fun to discover more!
Are you sure it was the industrial landscape that drew you in here, though? ;)

Always so much visually going on in your images Paul. I am particularly drawn to the rather prominent circular geometry happening here… I’m almost certain it wasn’t accidental either.
So cool it’s chilling.
