Yes, thank you so much Firedrake.
Mui-Ling Teh
A lovely rendered image Paul; that and the setup themselves already create a nice sense of depth, and then there is that frame done in a different tone while still being kept neutral creating another layer. I have always liked the way your subject appeared to be on the other side of the frame as opposed to simply being circled.
Paul Compton in reply to Mui-Ling Teh’s comment
Ah! Thank you so much for your beautiful insights Mui-Ling, you’ve made my day. Hope you are well : )
Mike Paget

Andy Mercer
Maybe you should move to England, we like dark imagery over here ! All those pictures with blue sky and beaches are so boring !
I’m not doing much this afternoon so I think I’m going to write a best selling “windswept moors” type novel and get you to do the cover !
Just out of interest.. do you ever do landscapes ?
Paul Compton in reply to Andy Mercer’s comment
Yes, I would love to move to England. I’ve had my heart set on Yorkshire since a very young age (ever since I watched one of the many film versions of Hound Of The Baskervilles). Windswept moors – how dreamy. Wuthering Heights is a favourite book of mine. No, I haven’t done a landscape in about six years but I have been contemplating a sort of stormy, black and white English landscape scene for a few months now. When I finish my current projects I will get onto it.
