Lori Peters
In the southern states there is a lot of fungus. There is very little here because I live in a desert-like climate and the freezing weather would kill it off.
Michael Oubridge in reply to Lori Peters’s comment
Well Miss Lori you will have to go south and find me some fungus LOL

Heloisa thankyou, i hope you are well :)

I think sometimes going too close looses a lot of the detail which makes the shot interesting, when i do any macro work i tend to take the shot i want (really close) then move back a little and take another shot, occasionally the latter shot turns out to be the better/preffered one.
Michael Oubridge in reply to Janice Carrington’s comment
Thankyou Jan, glad we think along the same lines :)

MaryMina
I have to be honest: my first word, exclaimed aloud, was, ‘Yeuk’!
Then when I looked closer and realised just what it was I appreciated it more. I’ve never seen anything like this and its not in my little reference book, which although little has a great many fungi in it.
For a fungi it really is quite attractive. So I apologise for my first reaction:)
God bless
Michael Oubridge in reply to MaryMina’s comment
LOL Glad you are starting to appreciate the beauty of fungus Mina :)
