This is a stunning portrait of this lovely seal specimen.

Fantastic eye contact, wonderful exposure, nicely processed for monochrome showing subtle tonality and contrasts.

Full depth of field and sharp focus renders great close-up detail.

I was thinking though that as you have the eyes so horizontally centred in the frame, it may be a good idea to make this a square crop. This will intensify the very best elements of the image and justify the centralisation. Take a close look at the thumbnail in your public profile to get a good idea of what I mean.
