To Be Much More

At break of a new day warmth begins
Life awakens greeting fresh the view
In a misty meadow as one looks
Refreshing also is the life in you

A reflection now dances on a pond
As the haze lingers long on its shore
Like a mirror it plays to a soul
Rise as the mist to be much more

As trees do cast shadows as they stand
To sign the earth of who they are
They let us know that we can so touch
The world around us near and far

At evening’s dawn the clouds come to play
And like them we can glow and soar
Shining brightly in a single suns ray
We too can become so much more

The night sits quiet the eve put to rest
Soft stillness speaks in stars to see
Reach to the heavens embrace its speech
Echo the peace dare to be free

Lessons of a day are there to teach
Gently each knocks at your hearts door
Know that life brings abundant blessings
When you chose to be so much more
