The Vision of Beauty

The day begins with gentle thoughts
As you come in my mind
I see the beauty in your face
Each day there’s more I find
For you are gentleness and joy
A vision to behold
I doubt I’ll see more loveliness
Even when I’m old
A ray of light encompass you
Such dreams it does invoke
I look into those dreamy eyes
Your beauty up I soak
For you have woken up my heart
And fired the passion deep
I think about you in the day
And when I go to sleep
Your hair is soft and shining
I see your body chic
A day is never long enough
Nor even one long week
For you have timeless beauty
I want to watch so long
A year is just a starting point
You set my heart in song
So thank you pretty lady
For all the fire that burns
I want to kiss those lovely lips
And always for them yearn
