Searching Heart

The secret heart is searching, searching for the truth
Like a seagull’s seeking, seeking for its food
A secret heart is yearning, yearning for the light
Like the moon is burning, turning bright the night

The world is in darkness, filled with fear and dread
Their minds are fixed, no longer needing the way of life

Unlike a child, who’s eyes are bright and shines like the moon
The mind flying up into the sky, like a bird
Discovering the meaning of life

Seeking and lurking through the secret,
The secret that the world no longer is seeing

The motto of this is
Be like a child and look around
See the beauty that is around
But there is sorrow and death
We suffer loss

A child is uncomplicated and looks beyond all of this
The mind with the birds
The heart with the moon
Where are we from and why are we here
Ask a child,

They are sure to know the secret!
