From A Distance can be seen
Two young sisters with thoughts and dreams
Talking about new toys and dolls
While they walk together awhile
Remembering what fun they had
The night before with Mom and Dad
How silly the cat was when he jumped in the air
And how they love brushing each other’s hair
What will they do tomorrow at school
Will their teachers have new silly rules
And maybe for dessert they’ll have chocolate cake
The one that Grandma loves to bake
Young sisters with futures bright
Being friends always day and night
They may often have a fight or two
Just the way sisters always do
For each other they will always stand
And together they will band
Against anyone who would interfere
With each other who they hold so dear
