Mist enshrouds the bridge in Fagan Park a couple of weeks ago – a 2008 version of Billy Goats Gruff which was taken twelve months ago. Still waiting for a suitable morning to go and snaffle some more foggy shots! A Susan Epps Oliver original 2008. All rights reserved This work was derived from basically a happy snap taken whilst out walking on Skyline Drive in Virginia. The night I worked on it was stormy and kind of eerie so I decided to imagine how the bridge might have looked on that night. I used the fractalius filter ( Photoshop plug-in ) to give the stringiness to the foliage and then played with many variations in brightness/contrast, colour etc until I arrived at the effect I wanted. It was about 3 hours work which included cloning out stuff which I thought made the image look cluttered. Featured in the ” Virginia ” group. / Featured in the “Rural America ” group. even bright light does not disclose dark secrets (part of a bigger series) if you need a lot of explanation for your picture it’s limiting the possibilities of the viewer. or it’s a mediocre picture.

Trying something a little different with this shot. Taken at night but modified by increasing the exposure values by a lot. Creates an interesting effect. I also took a Panoramic of the Millennium Bridge and the Quayside. See what you think. Birds Of Prey Christmas Cards Night Scenes Landscape / Scenic

Well, there I was, walking along my favourite stretch of canal, when this shot presented itself to me. So, click, there it was, sunshine glaring through the tree, sky white as a sheet. Did I have my tripod, to do a HDR version ….. no. Thank goodness for Photoshop ! / Berriew, Mid Wales, UK / Copyright 2007 richiedean Clickable
