  • Bermuda and The Sea Venture
    by SBCStudio

    US$5.32–US$121.60

The Sea Venture was one of the first ships to arrive in Bermuda. It was thrown accidentally off course by a hurricane and landed on the reefs intact. Its original course was with a fleet from England headed towards / Jamestown, Virginia to aid in the colonization. From being shipwrecked, the crew and passengers of the Sea Venture settled in Bermuda and benefitted from its tropical paradise and set up a small colony. This painting is a Mixed Media piece, combining original digital photography taken in Bermuda by SBC, painting, and drawing. It is intended to capture the natural and surreal beauty of Bermuda. It won an Honorable Mention Award in the Rowayton Art Show in 2006 and First Place in the Darien Art Show in 2007.

  • The Magnificent Stare
    by TerriRiver

    US$5.32–US$121.60

My new wolf friend seemed to like having his pictures taken – he stared “up close and personal” right into the lens. I believe it is only fitting to donate the proceeds of the sale of this image to a park that more than 200 wolves call home! :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Algonquin Park

  • "Be Sure to Get it Right!"
    by TerriRiver

    US$5.32–US$121.60

My new friend posed and wanted me to get his face “right”, although I am still not sure that I did. I tried though. Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Algonquin Park

  • Solitude
    by TerriRiver

    US$31.35–US$167.20

The bridge reminds me of an emotion of solitude, which is not to be confused with loneliness. The former leads to an internal peace and being one with nature and oneself while the latter was a feeling of being forced to be alone, deprived of freedom and choice. I used to call this photo “Peaceful Bridge” until a young patient of mine (at the time she was nine years old) explored the difference between solitude and loneliness. When the image was presented to him as an illustration, he exclaimed, “Oh, solitude is peace, inner peace!” And the true title of the piece was born. • The doe took a little time off from busy eating for the photo opportunity, although she didn’t want to give up the tasty colorful leaf. By now everyone who has ever seen my work knows that I’m absolutely “addicted” to develop a deep relationship and establish an intimate communication with mule deer (we don’t have a lot of white-tailed deer around here). Everyday I go out there in the early mornings, hoping to have a close encounter! :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Nature Canada

  • High on windswept ridges in the Ancient Bristlecone Pine Forest in eastern California’s White Mountains live the planet’s oldest known living organisms – the ancient Bristlecone Pines (Pinus longaeva). Some of these trees were already growing when the Egyptians built the pyramids over 4000 years ago. The oldest known Bristlecone Pine is “Methuselah”. This gnarled and twisted tree is about 4,800 years old – and still able to reproduce. But only a few bristlecones have been able to grow to such incredibly old ages, survived ultraviolet rays, extreme cold, wind, and aridity in this harsh environment between the Eastern Sierra Nevada and Death Valley in an elevation between 10,000 and 11,000 feet (3,048 and 3,354 meters) above sea level. These old trees, the oldest living things on earth, 2800 years older than Christ, are now strictly protected by law and guarded carefully. “Thank you for being a friend” Card / Laminated Print / Please note: RedBubble automatically re-sharpens and adds contrast to uploaded images for web display. That’s why some originally properly exposed, sharp thumbnails and large previews appear too harsh and too sharp. / Printed Photographs are properly exposed and sharpened!

  • River's Snow Portrait
    by TerriRiver

    US$5.82–US$133.00

My dog River posing for a portrait in the snow. She has ALWAYS liked her picture being taken since she barely opened her eyes at two weeks of age. Her litter mates ran around when the camera aimed at them but she stood in attention every time a photo opportunity showed up! :) I’m sure she’d be glad that I donate the proceed of the sale of her photos to Nature Canada as she loves woods and her deer friends as much as I do! :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Nature Canada.

  • Proud in Love
    by Anthony Begovic

    US$4.32–US$98.80

This husband and wife were originally from Chennai, India, but have moved to Alleppey in search of work. This doorway is their home. What struck me was how proud they were of each other, and how they showed immense affection and respect towards one another. They DEMANDED to be photographed. The nicest people we met in all of India … and quite possibly the nicest two people we’ve met anywhere (typical of Chennai people). I wish them the best of luck.

  • Ice bridge
    by TerriRiver

    US$27.08–US$144.40

This is a little bridge in my piece of the woods after the first snow. All is calm and quiet. Even the deer seemed to be walking gingerly – not wanting to disturbed the “peace”. Some may even say that the picture portrays a feeling of “eerie-ness” but for me, it’s just the quietness and serenity. This is why I’d like to do my part to keep nature this way! :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Nature Canada

  • "Now Watch and Learn!"
    by TerriRiver

    US$5.32–US$121.60

My new wolf friend was determined to teach me how to howl after our shared lunch. He very “tenderly” took half of my sandwich from my offering hand with his mouth, lay it down on the ground and ate it layer by layer, slowly and savoringly, unlike my dog River, who would ALWAYS “wolf down” whatever is offered to her! :) So now he set out, just a few feet away, raised one front leg a tiny bit for emphasis and howled. I got down on all fours, copied the posture and did the same. Obviously he was a little dissatisfied with my learning so he repeated the whole thing another time. And this time he was happy with his pupil. What a patient teacher I had! :) Donation to charity / 50% of the proceeds of the sale of this image will be donated to Nature Canada
