I’m bored, have a head cold and I’m stuck at home so I had to try and use my imagination with what I had around the house! I don’t know if I’ll keep this one up, I want to try and perfect it. It’s actually just a water drop on top of a tiny bougainvillea flower.. This can give you an idea of how tiny this actually is! Ohh, and this has not received any post processing.

This was taken on my front deck early in the morning with heavy fog leaving dew on a cobweb.

This ladybug is so lazy, she decided to hitch-hike on the back of the butterfly, and just to be safe she´s wearing a helmet. ;-) / The sky and the water is made with Photoshop filters, the rest is from 4 different photos I´ve taken.

Doesn’t this pair of bees look like they are having a great time on this water lily? How I envy them! :D(Best viewed when large) / /

The only change I made to this photograph was with the curves I twigged the color in it a bit but I personally love the effect. He was such the poser you will see :) I have a few dragonfly photo’s but to keep it from being boring I will only post the ones that are very different in feeling and effect. Thanks for viewing. FYI: this is my very first time capturing a dragonfly! Wasn’t the water still !

The glowing golden centre and the radiating violet blue petals belong to a very fine specimen of Nymphaea violacea (Water Lily), a very common Australian native water plant. The photograph was made as I was sitting on a little jetty over a large pond on the property of a camera club friend at Kundabung, between Kempsey and Port Macquarie, NSW, Australia, on a lovely autumn day. With this particular one I was trying to photograph the interaction of the tiny black Australian stingless native bees (Trigona carbonaria) with the water lily when literally out of the blue, the much larger European honey bee (Apis mellifera), dropped into shot just before I pressed the shutter. Lucky me! Lucky you! Lucky us! Camera: RAW; Manual Priority; f/6.4; 1/1200sec; 67mm; Manual Focus; WB Daylight; ISO 80; Spot Metering; Centre Focussing; Hand held. / Processing: S7RAW & Photoshop CS. Was practicing with editing in Photofiltre and picasa. / Sometimes it just fun to play with an image… / And although I am strictly a novice when it comes to editing, / I was pleasantly surprized at the outcome of this image. / Have a great day all!
