©2004 Sara Montour I haven’t uploaded a lot of new photos lately. I’m super busy, but I definitely miss the RedBubble community and am hoping to be more involved. Fridays are a relatively slow day for me, so perhaps that will be my RedBubble day. I took this photo in 2004 when I lived in Ireland. We spent the day by the beach and were very ready to head back home. We finally got all the way back to the car and I saw this little toy and said “hold on! We can’t leave yet! I have an idea!” I ran back to the beach and took this shot and several others.

Ophelia gazes in wonder at these orange palm seeds that are cascading so beautifully from the palm tree. “My seed friends…..you are of the same colour as my eyes, I’m sure looking at you all make my eyes look more orange than they already are!” Ophelia hooted excitedly at the seeds. The seeds looked at one another and were left speechless until Ophelia left them for another tree :D / /

When my son was small, I used to take him there a lot. This park is situated in my neighbourhood, Kanonkop, about 7 blocks away. Image copyright: Mariaan Krog 2008. / !

Knitto Pinko submitted her resignation as head knitter to Farmer O’MacDonald a year ago. She decided that she no longer wanted to knit designs that she was in the least passionate about. Her dream was to have her own shop of knitwear, designed by her with 100% wool.Knowing her dream extended beyond the boundaries of this farm which she had grown so familiar with, she took on the challenges that awaited her outside nevertheless. There was no turning back since. Here she is…focusing so intently on this lovely pink knitwear for her new shop, Knitty Gritties :D /

Now Ophelia is being a little nosy here, she’s trying to see what goes on inside the house, a couple seems to be quarrelling. She doesn’t have to eavesdrop over what is being transpired because she has such an acute sense of hearing. “Oh! Not about money again, the root of all domestic woes! Ophelia hooted. / / / You can view and buy my other “Nosy Ophelia” creations at my Zazzle Gallery: /

This rusted three-wheeled pedal-toy was found amongst a pile of of metal-rubbish on the top paddock near my FIL’s hay-shed. Amongst other oddities in the heap, I dragged this rusted bike out – watching for snakes – and brought it back to life with a series of shots.
