  • BASSENDEAN RIVER WALK
    by Hans Goepel

    US$3.99–US$91.20

The Town of Bassendean is located approximately 10 kilometres north-east of Perth and 5 minutes from the Swan Valley vineyards. With a total area of 11 square kilometres, the Town is bounded by the Swan River, the City of Swan to the north and the City of Bayswater to the west. It has a river frontage of 7 kilometres. flora and fauna The Swan River is a scenic treasure, a playground, a natural drain and functional ecosystem. The trees and shrubs, rushes and sedges prevent soil erosion along the river. The nearby wetlands provide a natural habitat for frogs, water birds and tortoises. Our natural parks are home to birds such as silver-eyes, honeyeaters, willie wagtails, grey fantails, white-tailed black cockatoos, Australian kestrels, white cockatoos and the pink-and-grey galah, to name a few. The Bassendean Preservation Group works with the Council to preserve our natural bushland and wetlands. Captured with Nikon D40X. 18-55mm Lens. /

  • Seascape
    by georgieboy98

    US$3.99–US$91.20

Taken this afternoon with my new Sony alpha 350 dslr As yet I don’t have a polarising or neutral density filter and either, or both, is a must. The Indian Ocean rolls in at Guilderton, some 90+ kms north of Perth, Western Australia. The sky was added from my files as in reality it was a brilliant shade of blue with not a cloud to be seen, with the result there wasn’t a heck of a lot of colour contrast in the shot...

  • My watercolour painting from a 1906 photo of the Mauretania. Luxury liner (the fastest in the world until 1929). She’s being towed by steam tugs, out of the mouth of the river Tyne, and into the North Sea. Watercolour and gouache, 12” 8”

  • Solemn Sunset
    by Brian Puhl IPA

    US$5.16–US$117.80

My most popular work to date…. This photograph was taken on a gorgeous evening following a pacific storm that rolled through the northwest. The Columbia River, where this was taken, spans out almost five miles at the mouth. During low tide, mudflats expose and reflect the colors of the sunset for gorgeous photographs. This evening was exceptional with the fast moving thunderclouds passing by, lighting up the sky. Post-processing include HDR, and some dodging to even out the balance of the photo. / I hope you like it!

  • Como PG 1
    by alexkess

    US$6.65–US$152.00

I went down to the Como Pleasure Grounds the other day. It’s funny how you can live almost right next to a place, and not realize how beautifull it is… This shot was taken under a beaurifull tree looking out towards the Train Bridge and the Marina. It is a 5xp HDR, pushing the limits a bit, but I think it gives the tree a real 3dimensional feel. Please also visit my website alexkess.com and my photoblog . Cheers, Alex

  • My calendar has an element of the sea in each month. / Some are tranquil, others are stormy, depending on the month. All are watercolour paintings, and two, May and October, are pen and wash.

  • Reflections
    by David Haviland

    US$5.82–US$133.00

This image was taken at the pier at Port Arthur, Tasmania. It was taken just after a rather uneventful sunrise due to cloud cover. While standing waiting and hoping for the light to improve, I was looking around and inspiration hit me to take this shot. This shot has had a split toning treatment in photoshop, I felt it created the mood of the morning better then the colour version.
