‘Friends Series’ card by Karin Taylor Best of Friends is a mixed media production (ink, pastel, charcoal, acrylic) on canvas textured paper. It’s a strawberry and it’s a clock. If you are wondering why that time… At one o-clock on the 24 hour clock it would say 13:00 since it is 1 pm. The minute hand is at 57 minutes past. And finally the second hand is 9 seconds past. Therefore if you write the time it shows 13:57.9 showing all the odd numbers from 1 to 10 in sequence. BAM!

Coffee can be prepared and presented in a variety of ways. / Coffee has played an important role in many societies throughout modern history. In Africa and Yemen, it was used in religious ceremonies. As a result, the Ethiopian Church banned its consumption until the reign of Emperor Menelik II of Ethiopia. It was banned in Ottoman Turkey in the 17th century for political reasons[citation needed], and was associated with rebellious political activities in Europe.
