This image came off my camera as a complete surprise. Obviously an accidental click of the shutter, because the pictures on either side of it were normal shots recording my process of reupholstering some dining room chairs. Having no idea what this is actually a picture of, I nevertheless was quite taken with the organic feel of it, almost like an x-ray. The only digital tinkering I did with the image was to enhance the existing hue and saturation, and add a somewhat granular texture for an artistic sort of colored-pencil effect; the formations are exactly the same as originally photographed. / - – - – - – / I must confess that, although this picture has been on another art site (ImageKind) for months, in processing it today for redbubble, I added a border, the shading of which I learned here, after seeing it used to good effect by others. The first such shaded border that knocked my socks off was in a picture titled Delicious by aphoto4you. It was the first RB picture in my collection of favorites, and it is still there. / / So, being a bubbler is a learning experience for me. Now I still have to learn how to fractal!
