  • what a wonderful world.... by Dave Hiskey

Our world will still survive without us… we are only destroying ourselves … I’d rather not for our kids sake!

  • Legwork by aRae

digital image of resin sculpture (life size)... / contents ” fishing net “ / to represent the imprint of human interference with our natural world.

  • Where's Toto? by Colleen D. Gjefle

The original painting is a 5×7 miniature work done with pencil and acrylic paint. This is a “free association” work that I did while watching the SciFi Channel’s mini-series “Tin Man”, which was a modern re-working of “The Wizard of Oz”. Dorothy’s face has merged with the tornado to dance across this checked game board in this surrealist image that I hope you will enjoy.

  • Fraternal Infusion by sowhat

This is an other piece done in colored pencil and ink. / It is difficult to see the innocence of children currupted by the bitterness and distorted reality of one who in a perfect universe would be nurturing and instilling a respect for the world. How tragic to be helpless in reaching the ones you love most, because of hatred and antisocial behavior which is being passed on.

  • 234 - DOODLE ART - DAVE EDWARDS - COLOURED PENCILS - 2008 by BLYTHART

This is purely imaginative but I’m not sure i even like it. It is a bit of a throwback as I churned this sort of stuff out twenty years ago. I did this after chatting with Catherine Walker, who encourages people to paint from their imagination. That’s fine if, like Catherine, you have a good imagination, but for me everything turns out looking childish. It’s not a direction I particularly want to go and I’m glad I’ve finished this picture to be honest.

  • Spidergod by Derek Stewart

Inspired by and dedicated to Ingmar Berman and his work. “The door opened, but the god was a spider. He came up to me and I saw his face. It was a terrible, stony face. He scrambled up and tried to penetrate me, but I defended myself. All along I saw his eyes. They were cold and calm. When he couldn’t penetrate me, he continued up my chest, up onto my face and onto the wall….I have seen God.” -Through a Glass Darkly

  • To Return by David Allen

“Until the spark can continue no longer and must return from where it came” To Return is part of a larger body of work in which I abstractly convey storyline progressions. This image is the third piece from a three part story (Trihedron). In this story I visually convey the final process of life, with the certainty of an after life. Limited edition (20) archival prints are available from my web site: DAViD M. ALLeN This image was created using Poser, LightWave 3D and Photoshop. It combines both 3D rendered models and photography. The background texture is made of many layered 3D objects on top of a close up images of crystal structures. Text was handwritten within Photoshop using a 6×9 Intuos 2 tablet. © 2006. Comments welcome.

  • STAIRWAY by Manolya F.

Slowly you will ascend these stairs, / A bundle of sun-colored leaves on your skirts, / And once you will look, crying, at the skies… The waters blanch.. as your face pales curtain-like, / As evening comes—observe the reddened air… / Ahmet Haşim http://freaky665.deviantart.com/ / http://causticstock.deviantart.com/ / http://night-fate-stock.deviantart.com/ /

  • ...and what a year this has been! On the 29th of November 2007, I have discovered by accident RedBubble and joined it on the spot. Just to post some of my photos… or, so I thought. / It never went through my mind the art was already in my heart and was just waiting for the right moment and venue to surface. Perhaps, nothing unusual here, since I’m quite sure I’m not the only one who’s mind does not always listen to the heart. Well, 366 days past and 225 published photos and other compositions later, here I am writing and bragging to you that I made it: I’ve crossed the line into the second RB year. There is though one crucial element that kept me here and allowed me to keep “doing art”: the wonderful community of artists as people and people as friends who never ceased to leave kind and encouraging comments on my artworks. To all those who have supported my art and implicitly encouraged me to continue, please accept my forever grateful THANK YOU. It is truly your support that made me who I am today from an artistic standpoint. I am always honored by your visits, your comments and by you keeping me on your list of people to watch. Here are some stats from the past year: / - total visits: over 45,000 / - artworks sold: 36 / - artworks on RB Homepage: 3 / - artworks on RB “Featured Wall Art” pages: 2 / - artworks featured on various groups: 12 Thank you again from the bottom of my heart to all who supported and helped me on my road to artistic expression.

  • I Believe by linaji

THE PROMISE OF A FULL BELLY AND HAPPINESS …. / BY:Mohammad Shehzad,OneWorld South Asia ISLAMABAD, July 21 (OneWorld) – Fuelled by the US-led invasion of Iraq (news – web sites), and the promise of paradise after martyrdom, thousands of impoverished young Pakistanis are allegedly enrolling for jihad (holy war) despite the ongoing war against terror. “Jihad is spreading like wildfire in Pakistan,” claims an official in the country’s Interior Ministry. He says that according to a slew of separatist publications, between January and June 2003, Islamic groups recruited over 7,000 young boys aged between 18 and 25. “Some of the largest separatist outfits – Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) – claim to have recruited more than 3,350 and 2,235 boys respectively during this period,” says the official. Jihadi groups are finding the Pakistani environment particularly receptive after the US-led attacks on Afghanistan and Iraq. They use publications, web sites, local prayer leaders, cassettes, CDs, and souvenirs like file covers, badges, T-shirts and so on to lure recruits. My feeling.. We need to come home.. we need to stop going after others and take care of our own.. there is not a winner here. This will of American Government to manipulate governments around the world since 1950’s with supporting of desposts who harm their own people is coming back at us full force. We have to learn to let go sometimes and focus on what works.. We must allow our attention to come back to America and stand up for each other.. find the culture within our own borders. We are not a predominate white country anymore.. We are Arabs, Jews, Chinese, Blacks, Mexican, Puerto Rican, Japanese, and so many more.. We are the world and we can start to heal the world by getting to know our neighbors.. our peoples here!! Stop the FEAR.. ALLOW THE DAMAGE TO SKYROCKET AND FALL JUST LIKE THE BANKS HAVE. This is a time to forgive ourselves for the careless reckless allowing of government to keep us safe through domination and fear….. WE KEEP US SAFE BY KNOWING OUR WORLD AROUND US.. START AT HOME AND GET TO KNOW WHO LIVES NEXT DOOR!! Now time for fun… I believe in miracles
