Originally draw with .05 pen in my A6 sketchbook.. sometimes when i can’t get to sleep, i’d take out my lil sketchbook and doodle as i listen to my (now dead) ipod.. i find it rather relaxing to doodle in the dark.. i don’t need to worry about details.. no worries about me spoiling/hurting my eyes.. i hardly bother to squint.. to me, am just doodling with what little light i get from my brother’s room.. the point of sketching in the dark is to not worry about details and mistakes. so i won’t be stressed about making mistakes.. =D / textured and colored in photoshop.. About This Group
To quote Captain Spaulding from House of 1,000 Corpses: “You like blood? Violence? Freaks of nature?” Well, then come on down to Monsters Ink and show us what lurks inside the dark corners of your imagination! This group will focus primarily on horror flicks, but is also open to pretty much anything that’s just downright scary, creepy or otherwise disturbing. Just remember that the key word here is horror.
PLEASE READ THE RULES BELOW, AS THE GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSIONS HAVE CHANGED.
Any medium is acceptable provided it’s truly horror related. Photos are discouraged because they typically don’t convey any real sense of horror; however, if you’ve set up a fantastic shoot and you think it’s really scary, feel free to submit it.
All submissions are subject to our approval.
I’m hoping to really push some boundaries here, so let’s see what you’ve got!
